Inda Yansane.
Inda was born in 1977. 





Ila Selwyn
Ila was an MC for Auckland's POETRY LIVE for four years and then organized and was the MC for rhythm & verse in Lopdell House for the next five. She left at the end of 2013 to do her Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Auckland in 2014, where she wrote a play, called framed, which included four hand-made chapbooks of poetry to be used as props and a slide presentation of poems and drawings. She won the Going West Slam in 2015. 

Miriam Barr.Miriam is the national coordinator of National Poetry Day. Her poetry has been published in such places as Landfall, Takahe, Brief, and Poetry NZ. Her first major collection, Bullet Hole Riddle, was published by Steele Roberts in 2014. She has performed her work widely across New Zealand and further afield, often in collaboration with other poets, dancers and musicians. Miriam was the winner of the inaugural Poetry Idol slam in 2007 and last year was voted an Audience Favourite at the Bowery Poetry Club's open mic night in New York City.www.miriambarr.com






Onehou Strickland.
Onehou was born in Papakura, she is of Ngati Awa descent. She began her poetic journey three years ago with the South Auckland Poets Collective. In that time she has performed in many shows including the Outspoken writers festival in Queenstown and Wanaka. She hopes to initiate further ensemble work of her own in South Auckland. Onehou is currently a student at MIT doing a bachelors in communication and a diploma in creative writing.









Peter Rimmer
Peter Rimmer is a contemporary poet who has spent most of his life in Auckland’s Southern Suburbs. Peter started reading poetry at the Globe tavern at Poetry Live in the 1980’s. There was a hiatus of some thirty years while he raised a family. Peter has come back to his passion of writing and reading his work in the past three years. He works in the construction industry as a tiler. 




Sally Louise
Sally has been performing and writing for some time now, in between work as a creative therapist and setting up Te Henga Studios Eco-Arts Retreat, where Poetry Circles are often heard emanating from the yurt. She was an original member of the Literatti back in 2006 and has participated in and produced spoken word shows both here and in Australia. She is currently on the NZ Poetry Society committee and loves to use poetry to connect communities in a multitude of ways.




Shane Hollands.
Shane is an innovator in the spoken word / performance poetry scene in New Zealand. He has been a leader in Auckland’s poetry-music crossover renaissance and founded ‘The Literatti’, a performance poetry troupe. Shane performs extensively throughout New Zealand as front-man for the jazz-beat poetry-rock band FREAKY MEAT and is the instigator and curator of The Kerouac Effect NZ's Celebration of spoken word music and Beat culture.
